My Song
I am a symphony...
I am a collaboration of many notes.
I am not defined by a single beat or rythmn.
I write my own lyrics...

And this is my song...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, so it ate the rest of my post and I had to retype it which pisses me off and makes me envious of all you bitches out there that have your own .com's! LOL!

When I first saw DJ get off the escalator I was totally taken by his desert fatigues. They looked like sand from a distance but when he got close they were actually camouflage. Now I realize just how amazing some of the simplest things to save our soldiers can be.

All DJ wanted to eat was McDonald's so we stopped and bought a huge amount of Mickey D's and headed to DJ's so he could shower and relax. He had left Baghdad on Wednesday and went to Tikrit, Kuwait, Germany and Atlanta before flying into Lansing. Two+ days of flying, lay overs and airports. He was pretty much deliriously tired. But you could see a mask of relief on his face.

We didn't stay too long before we all headed home and left DJ and Melissa alone.

I can sleep a bit better at least for two weeks.
